2026 Budget
The 2026 Mount Joy Township budget was adopted during the regular monthly meeting on December 15, 2025. The budget included a tax increase: General Fund tax millage was increased .30 mills to 2.64. The Fire tax millage was increased .20 mills to 1.10 mills. The proposed total tax millage will go from 3.24 to 3.74 mills in 2026. For a house with an assessed value of $200,000 the tax increase will be an additional $100.00
